Ford McElroy, born and raised in Clarksdale, Mississippi, is a driven, community-focused professional with a passion for helping others. He graduated from Lee Academy before attending the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) and Delta State University, where he honed his skills and knowledge. After his education, Ford returned to Clarksdale to take over the family insurance agency, where he made an immediate impact. In his first three years, he tripled the agency's commissions and attracted numerous new clients, showcasing his strong business acumen.

Outside of his professional success, Ford has been a dedicated leader in the Clarksdale community. He served as president of the Kiwanis Club of Clarksdale and contributed to numerous local committees, earning the respect and admiration of his peers.

In 2014, Ford and his wife, along with their two daughters, moved to Oxford, MS, where Ford opened a new chapter of sobriety for himself and his family. This personal journey inspired Ford to identify a gap in services for individuals seeking treatment. He established an outpatient treatment center in Oxford, catering to both college students and working professionals. After successfully growing and eventually selling the treatment center to a larger organization, Ford also sold the family insurance agency.

Today, Ford is embarking on an exciting new chapter as the West Tennessee and North Mississippi Sales Consultant for Thacker Caskets Company. With his diverse experience, strong business skills, and deep commitment to community, Ford is an incredible asset to the Thacker team, and they are thrilled to have him on board.
